GERMAN DESIGN TRADITION MEETING BAUHAUS
"Joy of life begins at home", this is how Germany's successful interior designer Christine Kröncke describes her vision of interior design. With this vision she has come a long way: Born in Bremen, the hometown of Wilhelm Wagenfeld, creator and Bauhaus follower, on 30th November, 1943, as a daughter of the businessman Wilhelm Christian Kröncke, she decided, inspired of Bauhaus, to dedicate herself to the creation of aesthetic and socially functional rooms, and became interior designer. After her degree at the Technical College of Furniture in Cologne, first practical experiences in furniture stores and several years of work with WK Furniture Association, she decided in 1974 to become independent, and established the "Reim Interline" collection which was renamed in "Christine Kröncke Interior Design" in 1998. For 35 years, she has been following up her idea with great success. Her trend-setting furnishing line is being inspired by the interaction of true style, personality and technical competence.
